About Central Baptist Church
On January 12, 1963, Central Baptist was organized into an Independent, Fundamental Baptist Church located in West Palm Beach, Florida. The first full time pastor, Charles Mask, led the church to lease a building on Garden Avenue and purchase five acres and a house at 4422 Gun Club Road, in West Palm Beach. The sanctuary was built in 1966 and the fellowship hall in 1970.
Expansion continued in the early 1990’s under the direction of Pastor Carl Fuentes. Remodeling in the Sanctuary, the baptismal tank, and the Sunday School rooms were completed as well as the new parking lot with landscaping and a restored office building.
We opened our preschool in August of 2008 with 17 students and now have more than 60 students. We poured the concrete for our new 80 x 125 multi-purpose building in November of 2009. The steel started going up shortly thereafter. We are definitely a church that is “going and growing for Christ”.
Our church is easily accessible from anywhere in the greater Palm Beach County area. It is located 1 block East of Military Trail on Gun Club Road. Take the Southern Blvd. Exit for easy access.
